Sequim Elks host gypsy jazz, classic rock groups

SEQUIM — The Sequim Elks Lodge will hosts a pair of bands with contrasting styles today and Sunday.

Both will be at 6 p.m. at the lodge at 143 Port Williams Road.

The cost will be $10 for the general public and $8 for Elks club members.

Today, the Elks will host Bainbridge Island’s Ranger & the Re-Arrangers for a concert and dance.

Gypsy jazz will be played in the Django Reinhardt style by band members Ranger Sciacca, Eric Bogart, Jeffrey Moose, Mike Sciacca and Mike Nicholson.

On Sunday, Cool Jam Band, a new classic rock band, will perform a dance and concert at the lodge.

Members include Mike Gerber (lead guitar, vocals), Duane Wolfe (bass), Jack Smith (drums) and Rick Marschall (keyboard, guitar, vocals).
