Salmon Bake set in Sequim on Sunday

SEQUIM — The Rotary Club of Sequim’s 51st annual Salmon Bake is Sunday.

The meal and music will be offered from noon to 4 p.m. at the Sequim unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula at 400 W. Fir St.

A raffle item table is available along with community vendors, pies and nonprofit displays.

The Dukes of Dabob and the Cat’s Meow will perform.

Visitors can choose between a salmon meal cooked over an open alder fire by Sequim Sunrise Rotarians or a pulled pork sandwich meal. Children 12 and younger may purchase a hot dog meal at the door for $5 as an alternative.

Discount tickets can be purchased for $16 up to the day before the event from Rotary Club of Sequim (noon) Rotarians, at the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce Office, the Sequim unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs, the YMCA, Thomas Building Center, Beal Carpet and Drapery, online at facebook.com/sequimnoon rotary or by calling 360-775-5820.

Tickets the day of the event will cost $18.

Proceeds will benefit the Sequim unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs, Sequim youth activities, local charities, such Rotary service projects as the Adaptive Bike Program and teacher classroom scholarships.

Organizers encourage visitors to be aware of ongoing construction on Fir Street and to enter the parking lot from Fourth Avenue.
