Red Yarn performances to be hosted by NOLS

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will host several free performances by Red Yarn this weekend.

Red Yarn is Portland-based performer Andy Furgeson, who combines folk songs and puppetry into a show for all ages.

Performances are scheduled at:

• Forks branch library, 171 Forks Ave, S., Forks, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday.

• Port Angeles main library, 2210 S. Peabody St., Port Angeles, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.

• Sequim branch library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

The Sequim performance is planned for outdoors; in the event of inclement weather, it will be moved to the Carroll C. Kendall unit of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the North Olympic Peninsula, 400 W. Fir St., Sequim.
