Port Angeles Fine Arts Center to host free yoga class

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center will offer a free, all-levels yoga class Monday, April 8.

The center’s gallery, with its view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, will be the setting for the 5 p.m. class.

On display now at the nonprofit center is “Mothers & Makers,” a photography show highlighting women who are artists and moms.

Jenny Stewart Houston of Port Angeles, herself a mother, artist and the owner of Poser Yoga studios, is co-sponsoring the show.

She encourages anyone interested in yoga to join her class Monday. Participants are welcome to bring yoga mats, while Houston will provide them for those who don’t have their own.

For more information, call Poser Yoga at 360-452-6121. To find out more about Port Angeles Fine Arts Center activities, see PAFAC.org or call 360-457-3532.
