PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Community Players will continue their production of “Christmas Dreams” with performances at 7:30 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Tuesdays and a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 22.

The performances will be on the main stage at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $9 for students at www.pacommunityplayers.org or at the box office.

The play, written by John Robertson, is set in Depression-era Chicago.

Jackie McArthur is struggling to support his grandmother while dealing with anger over his abandonment by an alcoholic father.

On Christmas Eve, when he learns his father is returning and he makes plans to run away, he is visited by a spirit in the form of a rail-riding tramp and must choose between love and hate.

This family story told with realism, humor and love will light every heart that knows betrayal and the healing of forgiveness.

The cast includes Charlie Medlong, Melody Todnem, Daniel Brown, Ben Vanderheiden, Simon Close, Tara Dupont, Rick Mischke and Belle Robinson.
