Pair of holiday shows wraps in Port Townsend this week

PORT TOWNSEND — Key City Public Theatre’s two holiday shows, the new comedy “Mercy Falls” and the original musical “Spirit of the Yule,” have their final performances this week.

“Yule,” the story of Port Townsend entrepreneur Henrietta Maynard and her transformation at Christmas, takes the stage at 2:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m. both Thursday and Saturday.

“Mercy Falls,” a world premiere starring Consuelo Aduviso Brennan and Michelle Hensel, plays at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday and finally at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The venue is the Key City Playhouse, 419 Washington St., where the lobby opens an hour before showtime for walk-up sales.

Tickets range from $24 to $29 and are also sold via keycitypublictheatre.org and 360-385-5278.

If shows are sold out online, patrons are encouraged to come to the theater well before curtain time to see whether cancellations and overflow seating have opened up any availability.
