OTA workshop offered youth

SEQUIM — Olympic Theatre Arts of Sequim is offering a Youth Theatre Workshop that will culminate in two performances based on Alice in Wonderland.

Children from 5 to 18 years old will attend a two-week camp exploring backstage and onstage aspects of theatre before performing “Alice!”

Students will participate in activities including: acting workshops, set and prop design and creation, costuming, team-building exercises, theatre games, and the production of a complete play in which they are the stars.

The workshop at the theater at 414 N. Sequim Ave. in Sequim begins Monday, with hours from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday and continues the following week, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 3-6.

The performances will be at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 8.

The cost is $125 per student with $10 off for additional siblings.

Camp and workshop scholarships are available by calling the office at 360-683-7326.
