Open rehearsal set today for Friday performance

PORT TOWNSEND — An open rehearsal today will precede a Friday performance, “Quadruple Bill +” by the Repertory Dance Theatre, presented by the Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts, along with internationally known dance artist Bill Evans, who lives in Port Townsend.

An open rehearsal for the public is set from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Chapel at Fort Worden State Park, 200 Battery Way, Port Townsend.

It “will be an actual working rehearsal,” Evans said. “I think people love seeing dance up close.”

Also planned today is a free “Movement for People Who Don’t Consider Themselves Dancers” class from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Fort Worden Chapel. Visits to Salish Coast Elementary School and Blue Heron Middle School in Port Townsend are planned today. Queen of Angels School and Dry Creek Elementary School in Port Angeles will be visited Thursday.

Friday’s performance will be at 7 p.m. at the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, 304 E. Park Ave.

Tickets, $10 for ages 17 and younger and starting at $20 for adults, are available at and at Port Book and News in downtown Port Angeles.

They also will be available at the door. For more information about RDT’s visit and other JFFA events, visit, email or phone 360-457-5411.
