PORT TOWNSEND — Tony McManus will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The concert will be in the Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road.

Tickets are $20 per person and are available at www.ticketstorm.com/e/29632/t or $25 at the door.

McManus plays Celtic music on the acoustic guitar, drawing on the traditions of Scotland, Ireland, Brittany, Galicia, Asturias, Cape Breton and Quebec. He also incorporates elements of jazz and east European music.

McManus began his career as an accompanist before debuting on the main stage on the final night of Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival in 1994.

McManus released 10 albums, some solo, some in collaboration with other artists; he also has released several instructional DVDs.
