SEQUIM — Terry Moore and Gary Bullock, both Sequim residents, will share their impressions gleaned from varied occupations and interests at the next Fourth Friday Readings, set for 6:15 tonight.

The readings will be in the Media Room at The Lodge, 660 Evergreen Farm Way.

Moore is an author who has traveled from rice paddy to missile silo, piloted boats and planes, and worked in labs and on drilling rigs.

He looks at existence from the perspective of human and non-human alike, and sometimes from previous and future lifetimes.

Gary Bullock spent 35 years living the Alaska dream.

He retired to the Olympic Peninsula in 2012 after a 37-year firefighting career and 22 years as a University of Alaska adjunct faculty member.

He is a cancer survivor and U.S. Air Force veteran.

His writing often reflects his joy as a serious birder. He also enjoys wood carving, sketching and watercolor and welding art projects.

Following the featured speakers is an hour of five-minute open mic readings. Interested writers may submit their names before the event begins.

For open mic guidelines, email lindabmyers@yahoo.com.
