Joe Euro to play during Candlelight Concert series

PORT TOWNSEND — Joe Euro will present “Classical/Neo-Classical Finger-Style” during a Candlelight Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The series, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Taylor St. in Port Townsend, also will be simulcast on KPTZ FM 91.9 and stream at www.trinityumcpt.org.

The concert is free, although a donation of $15 per person is requested.

Half of the proceeds will go to the Dove House Advocacy Services, which provides wrap-around services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other victims of crime.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Masks are encouraged for in-person attendees.

Euro performs acoustic, finger-style, neo-classical guitar using open tunings, reach over/hammer-ons and pull-offs.

Euro will play original compositions, some classical guitar pieces, a few light jazz standards and a few of his ambient space guitar creations.

Euro has owned and operated the Wine Seller, a retail wine, beer and bottle shop located in downtown Port Townsend on Water Street, since 1982.
