Historic building tour today

PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles — Jet Set will host a public tour of the historic Olympic Laundry building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

The wrong date was published on Page A8 on Friday.

The laundry at 418 S. Lincoln St. was built in 1924. Fourth-generation owner Malcolm White and his mother, Consuelo White, will be on site to share the history of this local business.

Admission is by donation. Proceeds will help fund scholarships for girls and women.
