Halloween activities offered this weekend

Halloween entertainment is set for this weekend on the North Olympic Peninsula.

Haunted Histories and Mysteries of Port Townsend is today through Sunday with a variety of events.

Tickets are limited to the Port Townsend Main Street Program events that explore the unknown from downtown Port Townsend to Fort Worden State Park can be purchased through Eventbrite (search Haunted Histories and Mysteries of Port Townsend) or at ptmainstreet.org — click on events.

• The Reign of Terror Haunted Hangar continues at the Quillayute Airport, 5144 Quillayute Road in Forks today and Saturday. The cost is $15. It is open from 7 p.m. to midnight each night as well as Halloween night until 11 p.m.

• Port Townsend Elks Halloween Party is set from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the lodge at 555 Otto St.

• Scaredy Cats Howl-o-ween Haunted House is set from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Tuesday at Kitty City, 91 S. Boyce Road, Sequim. Admission is $10 per person, $5 if 16 or younger; free for 5 and younger.

• Haunted Hallways at Sequim High School will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for children 4 and older. Admission is by canned food items to benefit the Sequim Food Bank.

• “Night of the Living Dead” returns to ​​Olympic Theatre Arts Center, 414 N. Sequim Ave., at 7 p.m. today, Saturday Monday and Tuesday, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $20 general and $15 for students. Tickets are available at olympictheatrearts.org, by calling the box office at 360-683-7326 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday or at the door.

• Fall Family Festival is from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Sequim Community Church, 950 N. Fifth Ave..

• Olympic Peninsula Rat Racers offer a Trunk-or-Treat from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sequim Village Shopping Center, 651 W. Washington St.

• Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula in Sequim at 400 W. Fir St. will be open from noon to 3 p.m.. Saturday, with games and a haunted house. Admission is $5 for children 3-17, while adults and children 2 and under are free.

• Sequim Prairie Grange Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at 290 Macleay Road. Outdoors the grounds will be filled with trunks full of treats and pumpkin carving for free.

• Social Norm’s Halloween Festivities at First United Methodist Church, at 110 E. Seventh St. in Port Angeles, are set for Saturday and Sunday. “Night of Souls,” will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. The church’s first Trunk or Treat is set from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot.

• Forks Assembly of God Truck or Treat will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the church at 81 Huckleberry Lane.

• Blakesee’s Bar & Grill Costume Contest will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at 1222 S. Forks Ave., Forks.

• The Witches Tea Party is planned for 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Lake Crescent Lodge, 416 Lake Crescent Road, off U.S. Highway 101 west of Port Angeles. Reservations are required; call 360-928-3211, ext. 0.

• 7 Cedars Casino, 270756 U.S. Highway 101, hosts its annual Halloween party Saturday inside Club Seven.

Entries must be in the club by 9 p.m. with the costume contest starting at 10 p.m. No cover charge; participants must be 21 or older.

Downtown trick or treating on Tuesday will be announced in Saturday’s edition.
