PORT ANGELES — The two-time Grammy-nominated Dover Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. May 28 in the Donna M. Morris Auditorium at Field Arts & Events Hall, 201 W. Front St., Port Angeles.

The chamber ensemble will open with Antonín Dvořák’s Quartet in F major, Op. 96 “American” and Robert Schumann’s Quartet No. 1 in A minor, Op. 41, No. 1.
After the intermission, it will perform Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Quartet No. 1 in D major, Op. 11, and finish the show with an excerpt from contemporary composer Jessie Montgomery’s “Strum.”
The current members of the ensemble are violinists Joel Link and Bryan Lee, violist Milena Julianne Lee and cellist Camden Shaw.
The Dover Quartet was named as one of the greatest string quartets of the last 100 years by BBC Music Magazine, and it has received the Avery Fisher Career Grant, Chamber Music America’s Cleveland Quartet Award and Lincoln Center’s Hunt Family Award.
