PORT TOWNSEND — Jennifer Pierce will present “Wildfires, Climate and Erosion” at 4 p.m. Saturday.
The free online lecture is sponsored by the Quimper Geologic Society.
Pierce is a professor in the geology department at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho.
She will integrate the subjects of her lecture based upon impact studies on forests of the northern Rocky Mountains.
