Feiro Marine Life Center to bring sea creatures to libraries

Feiro Marine Life Center educators and live ocean creatures will visit libraries in Port Angeles, Sequim and Forks next week.

The special family program is designed for children ages 4-6. Each child may be accompanied by one adult.

Participants will explore touch tanks, ask questions, use scientific tools to find answers and design new habitats for marine animals.

Space is limited, so preregistration is required.

Feiro will visit the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., at 10:30 a.m. Monday; the Forks Library, 171 S. Forks Ave., at 11 a.m. Wednesday; and the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

The free program is funded in part by the Albert Haller foundation and the North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee.

For additional information and to register for this program, see www.nols.org, email youth@nols.org or contact a library branch.
