Easter egg hunts set this weekend

Easter egg hunts are scheduled for children all across the North Olympic Peninsula.

• KONP Egg Hunt

PORT ANGELES — The 45th KONP Easter Egg Hunt is set for 9 a.m. Saturday.

The annual hunt, for children 8 and younger, is at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St.

Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m. and participants must bring the registration form with them as there will not be any available at the fairgrounds.

Registration slips are available in Port Angeles at Jim’s Pharmacy, Hartnagel Building Supply, Fogtown Coffee, Anime Kat, Swain’s General Store, Angeles Millwork and Lumber Company, Fog Horn Olive Oil, Captain T’s, Grandview Grocery, Strait View Credit Union, A/R Workshop, Laurel Lanes and Marathon Gas.

In Sequim, registration slips are offered at The Olympic Game Farm, The Co-Op Farm and Garden, Adagio Bean and Leaf and Sunshine Cafe.

• Kitchens Families

JOYCE — The Kitchens Families’ Easter Egg Hunt is set for 10 a.m. Saturday.

Kids 10 and younger are invited to bring an Easter basket to the playground at Crescent School, 50350 state Highway 112.

• Sequim Elks

SEQUIM — Sequim Elks Lodge 2642 will host an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The hunt is at the lodge, 43 Port Williams Road.

• Lutheran Church of the Redeemer

CHIMACUM — The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer will conduct an Easter Egg Hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The church is located at 45 Redeemer Way.

• Quilcene Fire Rescue

QUILCENE — Quilcene Fire Rescue will host an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The egg hunt is at the Masonic Lodge, 170 Herbert St.

The hunt will be preceded by a fundraising breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The menu includes pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage; all donations benefit the Quilcene Fire Rescue Volunteer Association.

• Hop Around Sherwood

SEQUIM — Residents at Sherwood Assisted Living will pass out Easter eggs and candy from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The assisted living facility is located at 550 W. Hendrickson Road.

There will also be prizes, refreshments and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

PORT TOWNSEND — Port Townsend Elks Lodge 317 will host an Easter egg hunt from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday.

The hunt is at Chetzmoka Park, 1000 Jackson St.
