Duck Derby winner

Kay Hermann of Port Angeles poses with her 2023 Toyota Corolla from Wilder Toyota. She won the top prize in the Great American Duck Derby, which benefits the Olympic Medical Center Foundation. “It’s amazing. I couldn’t believe Bruce Skinner (the foundation executive director) when he called me. I thought he was joking.” Hermann has supported the foundation through the years, figuring she has purchased “a million ducks’” over the years. Her plans for the new car are perhaps for her grandson turning 16 soon.
