Don a disguise for art party

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center has a new kind of Halloween art and costume party in the works.

On Oct. 26 inside the gallery, the theme will be “Explore the Dark Side of Art.”

Tickets are $50 for the affair, and proceeds will directly benefit the arts center.

“Don your best disguise and leave your inhibitions at the door,” gallery and program director Sarah Jane writes in her invitation, adding that the event is open to guests 15 and older.

To prepare, ticket holders are encouraged to join a mask-making party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the preceding Saturday, Oct. 19. Fine Arts Center crew will provide supplies, instruction and creative examples.

For much more information about the party, visit, find the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center on Facebook or call 360-457-3532.
