Discussion series on Supreme Court wraps Thursday

PORT HADLOCK — Nils Pederson and Joyce Francis will finish up their four-part series, “The Supreme Court of the United States,” from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The discussion series will stream on Zoom, the meeting ID is 863 0720 0824.

The series reviews the court’s processes and players, explores select major cases from the 2020 term and discusses the scheduled cases for 2021.

Pedersen is a retired patent attorney, and Francis is a retired professor of international relations.

Graden Kubas, 16, of Sequim, scratches the back of his Hereford steer, Hammer, that he plans to exhibit in the Fitting and Showing category of the Jefferson County Fair in Port Townsend on Saturday.
