This weekend’s accordion festival, the Deep Squeeze, will take place at two venues, neither of which has a cover charge for the music.
Here is the schedule.
Today
At the Pourhouse, 2231 Washington St., Port Townsend:
• 5 p.m. — Port Townsend accordionist Bertram Levy.
• 5:30 p.m. — Sequim accordionist Joe Schipani.
• 6:30 p.m. — The Mad Maggies play world-folk-rock fusion for dancing, 6:30 p.m.
• 7:30 p.m. — Those Darn Accordions dish out more danceable sounds, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday
At the Pourhouse:
• 1 p.m. — The Pickled Herring Band.
• 2 p.m. — The Alternators: accordionist George Radebaugh and fiddler Peter Evasick.
• 3 p.m. — Vickie Townsend and band.
• 4 p.m. — Tangoheart.
• 6:15 p.m. — Seattle accordionist Murl Sanders.
• 6:30 p.m. — Those Darn Accordions.
• 7:30 p.m. — The Mad Maggies return.
Sunday
At Finnriver Farm & Cidery, 124 Center Road, Chimacum:
• 1 p.m. — Accordionist Joe Schipani.
• 2:15 p.m. — Murl Sanders.
• 3:30 p.m. — The Alternators.
• 4:15 p.m. — Vickie Townsend and band.
• 5:15 p.m. — Those Darn Accordions.
• 6:30 p.m. — The Mad Maggies close out the festival.
