Dance set Saturday at Palindrome in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — Spring honky-tonk dances continue at the Palindrome at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Dance selections will draw from a wide range of classic country and western swing, along with other forms of blues and swing, with plenty of waltzes and a few surprises, orgnaizers said.

This week, the ‘house band’ includes George Radebaugh on piano, Eric Bogart on drums, Nancy Katz on bass, Rex Rice on trombone, and Matt Sircely on guitar and tenor guitar. The dance also will feature a special appearance by Jessica Lurie on saxophone and flute. .

Libations will be available from Eaglemount Wine and Cider in the tasting room adjacent to the hall. Admission is $10.

The Palindrome is located at 1893 S Jacob Miller Road.
