Peninsula College’s Vocal Jazz Ensemble has several spring shows scheduled at venues around the North Olympic Peninsula, beginning in Port Townsend today.
Each show will feature student soloists, and all events are free and open to the public.
Led by director Elaine Gardner-Morales, with Al Harris on the piano, the group will perform from 7 to 9 tonight at the Cellar Door, 940 Water St., Suite 1, Port Townsend.
Other shows are scheduled:
• April 29 — 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Uncorked Wine Bar, 7 Cedars Casino, 270756 U.S. Highway 101, Blyn.
• April 30 — 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., Olympic Cellars Wine and Cheese Weekend, 255410 U.S. Highway 101, Port Angeles
• May 5 — 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., First Friday Artwalk, downtown Sequim.
• June 8 — 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Peninsula College Student Art Week on the college quad on the Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
