Classic cars, trucks, motorcycles on display Saturday

PORT TOWNSEND — For the 28th year, classic cars, trucks and motorcycles from 1980 and earlier will gather for the Kiwanis Classic Car Show on Saturday.

The show will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Memorial Field, 550 Washington St.

Trophies will be awarded to the best cars in the stock and modified categories at 3 p.m. Spectators can also vote for their favorites in the People’s Choice award.

You can enter your vehicle before or on the day of the show for $20. Each additional entry costs $5. With each entry, entrants receive two coupons for complimentary coffee and doughnuts before 11 a.m.

Short-sleeved T-shirts can be purchased for $20.

This year marks the 68th anniversary of the show’s sponsor, the Kiwanis Club of Port Townsend.

All proceeds will go to the club’s youth scholarship and community service programs.
