Author talk slated Saturday

PORT HADLOCK — Fredrik Backman will discuss his new novel, “The Winners,” at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The presentation, sponsored by the Jefferson County Library, will stream online.

The historical fiction novel follows the racing career of the thoroughbred horse Lexington.

Other works by Backman include “A Man Called Ove,” “My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry,” “Britt-Marie Was Here,” “Beartown,” “Us Against You” and “Anxious People.”
