Auditions set for Twelfth Night Revelry in Sequim

SEQUIM — Auditions for Olympic Theatre Arts’ staged reading of William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” are set from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

Auditions will take place in the Olympic Theatre Arts Center at 414 N. Sequim Ave.

This will be the fourth year that OTA will present Twelfth Night Revelry.

Three performances are planned at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, with 2 p.m. matinees Saturday, Jan. 7 and Sunday, Jan. 8.

The revelry is set in an Elizabethan Hall, also known as the Gathering Hall, at OTA.

Patrons will be urged to come in costume.

Once-weekly rehearsals will begin after Thanksgiving.

Two dress rehearsals will precede the opening.

The play will be directed by Rich Hendricksen.

Those who audition will be asked to cold-read from the script.
