Art, rock set for show tonight in PA

PORT ANGELES — 2nd Friday Art Rock, known as 2FAR, will feature a honky-tonk vibe tonight at Bar N9NE, 229 W. First St.

At 9 p.m., Bar N9NE will host exploratory art rock featuring Ivy Ross Ricci & The Honky Tonk Concern and artist Jeff Tocher.

Ivy Ross Ricci & The Honky Tonk Concern features folk rocker, poet and activist Ivy Ross Ricci.

The Honky Tonk Concern includes Joel “Lucky Brown” Ricci, and Cassidy “Mysterious Doubloon” Grattan.

Organizers said the band will exude gumption, gratitude and spontaneity in their first 2FAR performance. Their music can be previewed at ivyrossricci.bandcamp.com.

Artist Jeff Tocher creates a magic blend of color, fantasy and whimsy. He will paint the night away as he welcomes the musicians and art appreciators to 2FAR.

A $3 cover charge will help support the musicians and artists.
