Art books the focus of Olympic art meeting

SEQUIM — The Olympic Art Association is opening its next meeting to the public at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave.

The presenter for this meeting will be Jan Dove who produces artists books. Dove will be showing a few of her works that started as drawings in George Zein Studio and have progressed to artist books.

She will also have some small samples of her figure drawings to give away.

This meeting will also be the group’s summer potluck. Attendees are invited to bring plates and utensils. The Art Association will furnish drinks and ham.
