Art and music together in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — Second Friday Art Rock (2FAR) will bring color to gray with music featuring Ches Ferguson and Friends and artists Cherish Dahinden and Cyndy Eaton at Bar N9NE at 9 tonight.

Second Friday Art Rock (2FAR) will be at 229 W. First St. A $3 cover charge will help support the musicians and artists.

Ches Ferguson and Friends are known for their improvisational musical explorations, organizers said, adding that they also play some 1960s and ‘70s covers that make listeners nod their heads as they head to the dance floor.

Ferguson will bring Mike Pace on guitar and vocals, Gordon Bowlby Sr. on bass and vocals and Alvin Owen on harmonica.

Art will be provided by the duo of Cherish Dahinden and Cyndy Eaton.

Both of these artists have wowed past 2FAR audiences with their bright, colorful and interactive live art, organizers said.
