This week’s scheduled lineup:

Monday – Master gardeners Jeanette Stehr-Green, Judy English and Bill Wrobel take calls from listeners.

Tuesday – New resident doctors from the North Olympic Healthcare Network, Nicole Jeffery, MD, and Caroline Jolley, MD. They will discuss why they are passionate about the Rural Training Track program, which places new doctors into rural communities as part of their residency.

Second segment – George Calhoun, director of the Quantitative Finance Program at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey, discusses “Why Is Everything Suddenly So Expensive?”

Wednesday – It’s Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Rosalys Peel, author of the book “Mike & Me: An Inspiring Guide for Couples Who Choose to Face Alzheimer’s Home Alone”

Second segment – Marshall Allen, investigative journalist and author of the book “Never Pay the First Bill” exposes the insidious ways the system preys on vulnerable Americans: price gouging, sloppy billing, fraud, insurance denials, unnecessary treatment and more.
