Seven Olympic Medical Center lab employees recognized

PORT ANGELES — Seven Olympic Medical Center laboratory staff were honored at a recent commissioners board meeting.

The employees are Kate Carter, core lab manager, chemistry specialist; Kathy Rudd, lab information systems; Nancy Christensen, blood bank, tech specialist; and Patty Wood, special chemistry, tech specialist.

Also, BJ Kavanaugh, reference lab send-outs, tech specialist; Terri Bower, lead tech, Sequim medical lab; and Jerilee Carpenter, tech specialist, hematology, coagulation and urinalysis.

“These employees were instrumental in recent equipment and software upgrades in our laboratory,” remarked Chief Medical Officer Scott Kennedy.
