PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Health Network has announced that Dr. Kristin Puhl and Dr. Mira Nelson have joined its staff.
Puhl and Nelson are second-year residents in the rural training track of the Family Medicine Residency at Swedish Cherry Hill.
The rural training track is a joint venture between Swedish’s residency program, NOHN and Olympic Medical Center that is designed to increase the physician workforce in rural communities.
The residents have completed the first year of their residency at Swedish Cherry Hill and will finish the last two years of their training in Port Angeles.
Residents, although already licensed as doctors, are supervised by board-certified family physicians during their training.
