Port Angeles School District employee feted with two awards

PORT ANGELES — Patsene Dashiell was recently honored with two awards from the Washington School Public Relations Association.

Dashiell is the communications and community relations coordinator for the Port Angeles School District.

Dashiell won an Award of Merit in the Print Newsletter and Mailer category for the summer 2018 and winter 2019 Port Angeles School District community newsletters.

These newsletters are archived on the district’s website at www.tinyurl.com/PDN-Visions-News letter.

She also received an Honorable Mention in the Communications, PR or Marketing category for a story and photos of Geoffrey Redick of radio station KNKX in Tacoma interviewing instructor Jamie Valadez and the Klallam language class she teaches at Port Angeles High School.
