Olympic Peninsula Humane Society hires development manager

PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society has announced that Nicole Patrick has been hired to fill the newly created development manager position.

Patrick has extensive public sector experience including 10 years with Washington State Ferries.

She also has worked with the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe and Clallam Transit.

According to a press release, Patrick will focus on expanding community events, increasing grant funding, developing the volunteer and foster care programs and creating new programs to improve successful adoption rates.
