EYE ON BUSINESS: This week’s meetings

Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held at 11:45 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

This Tuesday’s meeting will be the annual luncheon honoring the Sequim Citizen of the Year. This is a special event held at Cedars at Dungeness, 1965 Woodcock Rd, Sequim.

Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are usually Wednesdays at noon at Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill, 1222 S. Forks Ave.

This Wednesday’s guest speaker is Shannon Damron, Forks Hospital Foundation.

Lunch of $9.75 will include an entree and sides. The soup of the day will be clam chowder.

West End Business and Professional Association — Meets every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 279 S. Spartan Ave., Forks.

Port Angeles Downtown Association — Monthly meetings on the second Monday of the month at 6:15 p.m. in the PADA office, Harbortowne Mall Suite 107, 222 N. Lincoln St.

This will be a special meeting to discuss updates and revisions to the bylaws of the Association. Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings with networking and educational programs are held Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive (off U.S. Highway 101) in east Port Angeles.

This week’s meeting will feature local YMCA and its Youth in Government program.

There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those at the PABA meeting who do not order breakfast.

The Rotary Club of Port Townsend — Meets Tuesdays, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Northwest Maritime Center, 431 Water St., Port Townsend.

This week’s program will feature Shelly Leavens and her experience at the Rotary International Peace Conference.

• The Rotary Club of East Jefferson County — Meets at noon Thursdays at the Old Alcohol Plant, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock.

This week’s program will be Rotary Peace Scholarships with Pete Leenhouts.

The Port Townsend Sunrise Rotary Club — Meets Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. at Highway 20 Roadhouse, 2152 W. Sims Way, Port Townsend.

This week’s program will be a special presentation on the Dignity Toilets for Togo grant program.
