EYE ON BUSINESS: This week’s meetings

Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held on the first Monday at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St., and the third Monday at noon at Fort Worden Commons, 200 Battery Way.

This Monday’s 12:15 p.m. program at the Fort Worden Commons, will feature a presentation by ArtsWA Executive Director Karen Hanan titled “Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) — Arts, the Creative Economy & Livable, Healthy Communities.”

Jefferson County Farm Tour (Sept. 15-16) will also premier its Farm Tour promotional videa featuring the The Dirt Rich School and Compass Rose Farms.

Chamber members are admitted free and guests are asked to make a $5 donation.

The luncheon’s sponsors are Northwind Arts Center and Jefferson County Farm Tour.

Lunch is available to purchase in the commons.

Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings with networking and educational programs are held Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive (off U.S. Highway 101) in east Port Angeles.

This week’s meeting will feature a presentation by Howard Sprouse, CEO of “The Remediators Inc” about alternate approaches area stormwater management.

There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those at the PABA meeting who do not order breakfast.
