BUSINESS BRIEFS: Wind Rose Cellars closed through Feb. 2 … and other items

SEQUIM — Wind Rose Cellars, 143 W. Washington St., will be closed from today through Thursday, Feb. 2.

The tasting room will reopen Friday, Feb. 3 and resume its regular hours of 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and noon to 9 p.m. Saturdays.

New employee

PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles Realty Inc. recently hired Breeanna Romero as an agent support administrator.

She was born and raised in Port Angeles. She left to earn a bachelor degree from Johnson and Wales University in Denver.

Using her years of customer service experience and business education, she will support Port Angeles Realty’s clients, according to a news release.

PORT ANGELES — Here is this week’s schedule for the 1:05 p.m. to 2 p.m. local talk show segment on KONP radio, at 1450 AM, 101.7 FM and www. konp.com on the internet outside the Port Angeles area.

This week’s scheduled lineup:

• Monday: Danetta Rutten from the Crescent School Coalition and Crescent School District Superintendent David Bingham will discuss a grant the district received from DSHS (from marijuana tax dollars) that enabled the district to form the Crescent United Community & School Coalition, which will help with drug and alcohol educational programs in Crescent Schools.

• Tuesday: Shauna Rogers and Ariel Speser from the Clallam-Jefferson Pro-Bono Lawyers will discuss the services they provide, some client success stories and some upcoming free clinics being offered in the community.

Clallam County Fire District No. 2 Chief Sam Phillips and Lt. Troy Tisdale will discuss EMT training & volunteering.

• Wednesday: Boy Scout Troop 90 leader Rene Nadon will discuss an upcoming event for both kids and parents with Eagle Scout, adventurer and motivational speaker Aaron Linsdau, who skied across Antarctica by himself.

Priya Jayadev, executive director of Clallam Mosaic, with William Gullick and Tresa Stuber will discuss an upcoming event called “A Night to Shine” — a prom for people with developmental disabilities.

Bill Marsh, Ph.D., will discuss early mathematics for kids.

• Thursday: James Schultz from William Shore Memorial Pool will discuss the pool’s upcoming Fitness Fest.
