BUSINESS BRIEFS: PA broker earns new license level; Sequim bike business to expand

PORT ANGELES — Lynn Bedford of Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty in Port Angeles recently earned her managing broker’s license.

To obtain the license, one must complete 120 clock hours and pass an exam.

A managing broker’s license allows the licensee to supervise other brokers.

Bedford can be reached at 360-417-2806 or LynnBedford@olypen.com.

Expansion

SEQUIM — Ben’s Bikes Sequim, 1251 W. Washington St., will be adding a 1,200-square-foot expansion to the shop due to an increase of inventory, product lines and demand from bike riders in the North Olympic Peninsula region, according to a news release.

The new space will promote rental sales to tourists who might need a bicycle to enjoy events, trails and rides each summer, according to a news release.

“Our customers are great at letting us know what product lines they want,” said owner Sam Chandler.

A gala grand reopening is scheduled for the first weekend of April to coincide with Ben’s anniversary celebration sale.
