North Olympic Library System to hold Discovery Club

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System’s Summer Reading Program will host Steam Stations at all its branches this week.

Participants will be able to build a cloud viewer, make a model asteroid and start a nature terrarium in a bottle.

The workshops are part of the program’s weekly Discovery Club for youths in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Workshops are set for:

• 3 p.m. Tuesday at Tillicum Park, Tillicum Lane in Forks.

• 3 p.m. Wednesday, outside children’s area at the Port Angeles branch, 2210 S. Peabody St.

• 3 p.m. Thursday, in the grassy area on the west side of the Clallam Bay branch, 16990 state Highway 112.

• 10:30 a.m Friday, behind the Sequim branch, 601 N. Sequim Ave.
