Port Angeles’ Randy Steinman was selected coach of the year for guiding the Riders to a fourth-straight Olympic League title, the school’s first-ever West Central District Championship and a second-place finish at the Class 2A state tournament, the best season in school history.
Adrienne Haggerty Sequim (Senior) Outfield First-team All-Olympic League 2A pick in the outfield. Batted .464 in league play, 2 HR at districts.
Bailey Kieffer — Quilcene (Senior) Pitcher 1st-team All-SeaTac Leaguer pitcher posted 14-2 record with 1.70 ERA. Struck out 174. Batted .421 as Rangers made 1B title game.
Lauren Lunt Port Angeles (Senior) Catcher All-Olympic Leaguer hit .514 with 10 2B, 4 HR, 37 RBI, 33 runs. Homered twice in district tournament to power Riders.
Erin Macedo Quilcene (Sophomore) Catcher SeaTac League MVP hit for an astronomical .649 average with 6 HR and 44 RBI. Slugged 1.300 for second-place Rangers.
Mechelle Nisbet Chimacum (Senior) Catcher All-Olympic League 1A pick led Chimacum at plate with .570 average. 10 2B, 3 3B and 4 HR. Led Cowboys back to state.
Shanya Nisbet Chimacum (Senior) Shortstop Olympic League 1A Co-MVP posted .465 batting average, 10 2B, 5 3B and 4 HR to lead Chimacum to district title and repeat state trip.
Rian Peters Forks (Freshman) Catcher Second-team All-Evergreen League catcher in state’s toughest 1A league. Batted .520 with .607 OBP, 5 HR, 4 3B, 4 2B.
Kylee Reid Port Angeles (Senior) First Base 1st-team all-league 1B batted .475 with 6 2B, 4 HR, 26 runs and a .597 OBP as Riders’ cleanup hitter.
Sierra Robinson Port Angeles (Junior) Outfield Riders’ leadoff hitter batted .651 with .703 on-base percentage. Stole 24 bases, scored 39 runs. 1st team all-league center fielder.
Natalie Steinman Port Angeles (Junior) Second Base Batted .583 with 11 HR, 52 RBI, 26 runs. 1st team all-league. Already PA’s all-time HR leader.
Shelby Jones Sequim (Sophomore) Pitcher/INF Led team with .417 average at districts and state. Won three games at districts with only 2 unearned runs allowed.
