SEQUIM — Sequim sealed the Olympic League 2A Division championship and blew out rival Port Angeles 46-6 in the Rainshadow Rumble football game on Friday night.
It’s the first Olympic League title for the Wolves (5-0, 7-0) since a three-peat run from 2009 to 2011 and the fourth straight win over the rival Roughriders.
Port Angeles scored first on an impressive opening drive, moving the ball 75 yards in seven plays, and capped by Brenden Roloson-Hines 12-yard touchdown pass on fourth down to Anton Kathol.

But Sequim controlled all aspects of the game from then on, pushing to a 27-6 halftime lead and eventually triggering the 40-point running clock late in the final quarter.
Senior Kyler Rollness hauled in two first-half touchdown passes from classmate Riley Cowan and finished with five grabs for 115 yards in the win.

C0wan completed 11 of 21 passes for 198 yards, three touchdowns and an interception, and ran for 82 yards on seven carries. That included reversing field and scampering in for a TD from 16 yards out.
Sophomore running back Taig Wiker added 14 carries for 124 yards and two scores and caught four passes for 52 yards and another TD for the Wolves balanced offensive attack.

Senior Keeshawn Whitney added nine carries for 94 yards and an 18-yard rushing TD as Sequim closed the game out on the ground.
The Wolves visit Hoquiam in a nonleague contest Friday.
Port Angeles (2-2, 2-5) hosts North Kitsap (3-1, 6-1) on Friday.
