Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County receives donation

SEQUIM — Ed Veraldi and Bonnie Williams presented a check for $4,174 to Bette Wood, Dave Gilbert and Lynn Gilbert of Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County — proceeds from the RC airplane demonstration and raffle held at the 2016 Air Affaire.

Veraldi and Williams represent Sequim Aeronauts and the Olympic RC Modelers, respectively.

This year’s Olympic Peninsula Air Affaire is set for Saturday and Sunday at Sequim Valley Airport on Dorothy Hunt Lane.

The two local Academy of Model Aeronautics clubs will provide remote-controlled flying demonstrations featuring airplanes, helicopters and FPV drones.

All proceeds from the raffle and pilot entry fees go directly to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County.
