Two suffer minor injuries in Highway 112 wreck

PORT ANGELES — Two off-duty Port Angeles police officers helped at a wreck on state Highway 112 on Sunday afternoon after a two-vehicle wreck.

Officers JJ Smith and Mike Johnson evaluated both people involved and had them stay until paramedics arrived, according to a press release.

Elwha Police Department, Port Angeles Police Department, Clallam County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Border Patrol all responded to the wreck.

Both drivers had minor injuries and left the scene in private vehicles.
