PORT TOWNSEND — The Rotary Club of Port Townsend has raised $22,000 to support the Benji Project at it annual auction March 30.
The Benji Project uses the “Making Friends with Yourself” curriculum to teach stress management skills to youths aged 11-19.
The project, founded by Cynthia Osterman, is named after her son Benji Kenworthy, who died by suicide in 2015.

According to a press release, the auction also raised $40,000 for other rotary service projects and community grants.
