PORT ANGELES — The Port Angles School Board is seeking two students to serve on the board for the 2019-20 school year.
The student representatives will liaise between the board and the students at Port Angeles and Lincoln high schools.
The students will participate in board discussions, but may not make motions, vote, hold board offices or attend executive sessions.
Candidates should be in 11th or 12th grade during the 2019-20 school year.
There is a position for a student from Port Angeles High School and another for a Lincoln High student.
Representatives will earn one half of an elective credit for each semester.

Interested students must turn a completed application in to Central Services by 4 p.m. Friday.
Applicants will be interviewed during the week of May 13-17 and the new representatives will be announced at the board meeting May 23.
