PORT ANGELES — A 61-year-old man alleged to have been driving intoxicated was arrested when his Nissan Pathfinder rolled over on Marine Drive on Saturday.
Dennis L. Houk of Port Angeles was booked into Clallam County jail for investigation of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.
Houk and three small dogs in the sport utility vehicle were not injured.
The rollover occurred when the vehicle hit a curb at high speed next to the Port Angeles Boat Haven at about 12:20 p.m., Port Angeles Sgt. Barb McFall said.
Traffic was restricted until about 1:40 p.m.
McFall said the dogs were put in the care of one of Houk’s relatives after the wreck.
