Easter egg hunts are planned this weekend across the North Olympic Peninsula both Saturday and Easter Sunday.
Here are the scheduled hunts:
PORT ANGELES
KONP hunt
PORT ANGELES — The 41st annual KONP Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 9 a.m. sharp Saturday.
The hunt, for children 8 and younger, traditionally has been the largest hunt on the North Olympic Peninsula.
It will be at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles.
Registration for a prize drawing will begin at 8:15 a.m. Registration is necessary for the drawing but not for participation in the hunt.
All children are expected to bring their own baskets and each child must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration forms will not be available at the hunt. They can be picked up at LaBelle Creperie, Fairmount Grocery, Jim’s Pharmacy, Mt. Pleasant IGS, Cornerhouse Restaurant, Quality Tinting and Customs, Strait View Credit Union, Olympic Game Farm, Brown’s Outdoor, Dungeness Kids Company, Anime Kat, Port Angeles Baby Store, Park View Villas, Coffee Cottage, Shirley’s Café, Grandview Grocery, Laird’s Corner Market, Domino’s, Angeles Millwork and Lumber Company, Hartnagel Building Supply, Empossible Eden, Swain’s, Moss Boutique, Highland Courte Memory Care, Clallam County Fair Grounds, Leitz Farm Supply, Priscilla’s Cruise in Café, Klahanne Gymnastics, Elwha River Casino, Bada Bean Coffee and The Other Guys Car and Truck Center.

SEQUIM
Sequim egg hunt
SEQUIM — The Pumpkin Patch Flea Market will host an Eggstravanza from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Gates will open at 9 a.m. to activities and the egg hunt will begin at noon at the Sequim Pumpkin Patch at 260045 U.S. Highway 101.
About 3,000 plastic eggs have been hidden around the patch.

SEQUIM — The Sequim Elks Lodge will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Children up to 11 years old will be admitted free to the event at the lodge, 143 Port Williams Road.
The Easter bunny will drop by for a visit.
JOYCE
Joyce egg hunt
JOYCE — Rain or shine, the Kitchens Family Community Easter egg hunt will sound off at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Those interested in participating are requested to arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. at the Crescent School grounds, 50350 state Highway 112, for information about the hunt.
Children will be split into age groups of 3 and younger, 4- to 6-year-olds and 7- to 10-year-olds.
The Easter bunny will hand out goodies.

CLALLAM BAY
Youth egg hunt
CLALLAM BAY — The West End Youth & Community Club will offer an Easter egg hunt at Clallam Bay School on Saturday.
The event at the school at 16933 state Highway 112, is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
Youth ages 12 and younger can search for colored boiled and candy-filled eggs.
All participants will receive a prize.
BEAVER
Hungry Bear Cafe
BEAVER — Hungry Bear Cafe & Motel’s 19th annual Easter egg hunt will occur at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Raffle prizes for children and adults will be awarded after the hunt at the cafe at 205860 U.S. Highway 101.
There will be a separate area for youth ages 0 to 3.
Youngsters 4 to 7 years old will be given a one-minute head start, with 8- to 12-year-olds following after them.

FORKS
Forks hunt
FORKS — The 39th annual Community Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday in Tillicum Park in Forks.
More than 500 plastic eggs filled with candy and gift certificates and 1,500 dyed eggs will be scattered around the park at 236 N. Blackberry Ave.
The park’s three baseball fields will host three different age groups — 3 and younger; 4- to 8-year-olds and 9- to 12-year-olds.
Each participant will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize. Prizes include two bikes with helmets, chocolate rabbits and stuffed animals.
The Easter bunny also will be available to provide photo opportunities and hand out candy.
Easter celebration
FORKS — The First Baptist Church of Forks will have a series of events slated to begin at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The church at 651 S. Forks Ave. will celebrate Easter with a presentation of the Easter story, craft and cookie time, and an Easter egg hunt featuring more than 2,000 plastic eggs containing candy and prizes.
Each participant will receive an Easter book.
Children in fifth grade and below may participate in the Easter egg hunt.
A separate hunt for preschool-aged children and younger also will be held.

Easter breakfast
FORKS — An Easter breakfast will be served by the Concerned Citizens and Forks Emblem Club No. 488 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday.
The cost is $8 for those 12 and older; $6 for ages 4 to 11 and seniors; and ages 3 and younger are admitted free at the Forks Elks Lodge, 941 Merchants Road.
On the menu will be ham, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast, juice and coffee.
Photos with the Easter bunny will be available for $5.

Port Townsend hunt
PORT TOWNSEND — The oldest continuous Easter egg hunt on the Peninsula is the Port Townsend Elks Lodge hunt, scheduled for 8 a.m. Sunday.
The hunt is one of the oldest in the state, according to lodge members.
This is its 89th year. It will be at Chetzemoka Park on Jackson Street at Blaine Street in Port Townsend. Four age groups will hunt for eggs.
