Delays near Forks

FORKS – Traffic delays are expected Monday through Thursday on six miles of U.S. Highway 101 near Forks.

Starting at 7 a.m. Monday, travelers will encounter one-way alternating traffic with flaggers between Whitcomb Dimmel Road and Lake Creek Road during daylight hours.

The chip seal treatment — crushed rock embedded into liquid asphalt — will help preserve and extend the life of the highway pavement, the state said in a news release.
