New officers elected to North Olympic Salmon Coalition board

PORT HADLOCK — The North Olympic Salmon Coalition has announced the election of new officers for its board of directors.

The new officers are: Chair Jim Pearson; Vice Chair Brian Roe; Treasurer Terry Sweeney and Secretary Jean Erreca.

The other members of the board include Katherine Baril, Andy Brastad, Scott Chitwood, Kathryrn Neal, Anita Schumker and Richard Wojt.

The coalition is one of 14 regional salmon enhancement groups in the state.

Its mission is to promote robust wild salmon stocks through habitat restoration and education.
