Man arrested on warrants, drug offenses

PORT ANGELES — Clallam County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a convicted felon who had two outstanding warrants and was seen on video surveillance fleeing from the 7 Cedars Casino on July 27.

Anthony Reynolds, 29, was found hiding in a shop near a residence on the 900 block of Oxenford Road on Friday evening, said Sgt. John Keegan of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.

Reynolds was found to be in possession of a small amount of suspected heroin and methamphetamine and a hunting rifle that was believed to have been stolen, according to Keegan.

A man later identified as Reynolds was seen on video surveillance arriving at the 7 Cedars Casino in a stolen vehicle July 27 and later running from the casino when deputies arrived, Keegan has said.

Deputies recovered three firearms, including a loaded AR-15, suspected methamphetamine, evidence of drug sales and several items of suspected stolen property in the stolen vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office received tips from various sources about Reynolds’ whereabouts, leading to his arrest, Keegan said.

Reynolds was booked into the Clallam County jail for his two warrants.

He also is being investigated for four counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, four counts of possession of a stolen firearm, one count of possession of a stolen vehicle, one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, one count of methamphetamine possession and one count of heroin possession.
